- When I began this blog, I was almost 50 and embarking on what I called "my grownup gap year." I had lived in the same city for almost 25 years and was thinking that might be enough. So, I quit my job and started exploring options. Fast forward...I am now a student at the Clinton School of Public Service and will graduate in one year with a Master of Public Service degree. Summer 2012, where my blog picks up, is an adventure in Italy. Come along....

Kelly I have been trying to comment but am not a blogging aficionado so has taken me awhile! So sorry about your ankle. Ouch. But I know you have learned the italianos have it figured out. They know how to live stress free and how to embrace life. I say skip the skippy and imerse yourself in everything Italian. I want to see more pictures! Love you and can't wait to see more posts.
